"Where Do I Go Now?"
Where Do I go now? By Greg Boggs
The game is over and the lights have been turned down, the streamers hang to the ground but no one's standing round our high school days are over now, a new phase will begin, we'll take our place as young adults, but can we still be friends?
It’s so hard to say good bye and not shed a tear, will we ever see each other again, to laugh, and cry and cheer, if not we'll have our memories to last throughout the years, to help us through the broken the dreams and wipe our falling tears.
Where do I go now? Life has just begun, the road is wide and narrow and bright as the morning sun, our childhood days have come and gone, we've got to look ahead, keep moving on. Sometimes it’s so hard to see what is always best for me. It’s really not my choice to make, Lord help me find the path to take.
Here is where the road divides, we will soon depart, but there is a greater love that binds us deep inside our heart. Let’s remember the good times, the laughter and the tears. The road that lies before us is drawing quickly near. Though we don’t know where we're going, we will cherish where we have been. I can picture us together with my arms around my friends.
Where am I supposed to go? Who am I to be, what am I supposed to do? Lord, hear my plea, help me find my place.
