Jimmy Lee Dyer Sr., 40, of Belle, passed away at home,
April 3, 2013.
He was a construction laborer for Laborers Union #1353 and a
former member of the Rand and Malden Fire Departments. Jimmy was an avid NASCAR
fan who also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He truly loved coaching his kids in
sports, especially his son's wrestling team, "The Hill."
Preceding him in
death were his father, Darrell I. Dyer; uncle, Gary Dyer; and his grandparents.
Surviving are his wife, Casey Bradley Dyer; sons, Jimmy Lee "J.D." Dyer II
at home, Dylan Michael Clere of Cabin Creek; daughter, Tressie Grace "Gracie"
Dyer at home; mother, Susan Campbell Dyer of Campbells Creek; brother, Darrell
Ivin "J.R." Dyer of Cambells Creek; sister, Amy Michelle Dyer of Charleston;
nieces, Kayla and Tamara Dyer both of Charleston; and a host of friends.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, April 8, at Fidler and Frame
Funeral Home, Belle, with Jason Meador officiating. Burial will follow in
Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m.
Sunday, April 7, at the funeral home.
