Clyde W. Sullivan, 41, of Hugheston, went to be with his
Heavenly Father on Oct. 4, 2014 after a long illness.
Clyde was born
May 12, 1973 in Richmond, Va. He was preceded in death by his stepson,
Daniel Fannin. Clyde had a way of capturing your attention with his fun
loving ways. You loved Clyde from the moment you met him. He loved singing
and spending time with his family. His devoted Laura remained by his side,
always encouraging him and loving him. There was never a moment that he
didn't express his love for her or his kids.
Clyde loved everyone and
he was loved in return. Clyde loved working with kids. He loved coaching
football and boxing. Clyde created lots of great memories for his family and
friends. Clyde was a Christian and loved his church family. He was also a
member of Road Riders for Jesus.
Surviving are his wife of 15 years,
Laura Farley Sullivan of Hugheston; sons, Joshua Sullivan and Jayden
Sullivan, both of Hugheston; daughters, Brittany Fannin, and son-in-law, CJ
Sizemore, of Cannelton, and Mariah Sullivan of Hugheston; parents, William
and Evelyn Sullivan of Smithers; brothers, Greg Sullivan (April) of Florida
and William "Billy" Sullivan (Sarah) of South Carolina; sister, Tina Spain
(Sam) of Ohio; and he had a multitude of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, at Hughes Creek
Community Church, Hugheston, with Pastor Gary Tucker, Pastor Darick Biondi,
Pastor Jason Meador and Pastor Ron Egale officiating. Burial will follow the
service in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow.
Visitation will
be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Cedar Grove Community School, Cedar
Grove.
Cooke Funeral Home, Cedar Grove, is in charge of arrangements.
